Anuradha Sharma is the Head and a Professor in the Department of Mathematics at IIIT-Delhi. She completed her B.Sc. (Honours), M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in Mathematics from the Centre for Advanced Study in Mathematics, Panjab University, Chandigarh, in 2000, 2002, and 2006, respectively. She was awarded the University Gold Medal for securing first position in her M.Sc. program. 

Prior to joining IIIT-Delhi, she served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at IIT Delhi for over five years and earlier at the Centre for Advanced Study in Mathematics, Panjab University, for three years. During her tenure at IIT Delhi, she received the prestigious Kusuma Outstanding Young Faculty Fellowship. 

Her primary research area is Algebraic Coding Theory, with additional interests in Number Theory and Algebra. She has authored around 65 research papers published in leading international journals such as Finite Fields and Their Applications, Designs, Codes and Cryptography, and IEEE Transactions on Information Theory. She is also a co-author of the book entitled "Codes and Modular Forms: A Dictionary" (with Minjia Shi, YoungJu Choie, and Patrick Solé). Her Erdős number is 3.

 Her research has been supported by major national funding agencies, including the Department of Science and Technology (DST), the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), and the IHUB-Anubhuti–IIITD Foundation.
